Pass Along Game

12/10/21

‍    Here’s a current image for a change. One of the things we do in PFCC is what we call the Pass Along game, which has a rotating starter person. They post an image, either on of their own or one from a free stock image site. They then change that image somehow and post that. Then the next person in line changes that and so on until everyone has made their change. It takes anywhere from 5 to 10 days, depending how busy the members are.

‍    This time the starting image was a frosted tree with a white background from Pixabay.com. You can see the changes in the image as each member adds their own changes.

‍    The last image is mine — I’m about the middle person this round. There are two more people behind me. I’ll try to remember to  add those when they are finished.

‍    It’s amazing how an image changes in the journey through Pass Along. Some times it’s a funny story and sometimes is more serious. Sometimes its starts with one mood and then takes a turn to another one. It’s certainly interesting to see see the progression. I always marvel and the creativity and talent of my fellow members.

‍    If you like to make composite images in Photoshop or another image program, we’re always looking for new members. PFCC is private group on MeWe.com. First you need to join MeWe, then go to our group site and answer a few questions. You’re juried in or out depending on the images you posted on line; website or social media site.

‍    Take care and stay well.

‍    Here are the last two images in the chain. Lydia insists that the fox is too big, but I say the area between the twigs is a foot path ;-) Jim agrees with her. Maybe I should say that the person who added the hill got the scale wrong???

‍    Starting in January, there will be a Photoshop compositing class added to the classes offered at the St. Clair Art Association Center for the Arts. A new class listing should be out soon.

Happy Holidays!
